Deciding whether to invest in newborn photos can be a big decision. There’s a lot to think about in the lead-up to your arrival, and it can sometimes feel a bit too much.

Why might booking in a newborn session be worthwhile?

1. Newborns grow SO quickly. I look back at my newborn photos, and feel so thankful we got them done. My daughter changed so much those first few months, and to have those images of her tiny hands and feet, those little podgy cheeks, is so special.

2. Taking your own iphone photos just isn’t the same. Professional photographers know how to take great photos of newborns. This is not just because we have a great camera – we know how to use light, how to position your baby and family members, how to help your baby relax, how to beautifully use blankets and wraps in photos. These factors all create the beautiful images you see.

3. It’s easy. The sessions are in your home, so you don’t need to go anywhere. The sessions are relaxed and not rushed. We take our time - you can feed, change and cuddle your baby as much as needed. There are no expectations on any older siblings to ‘behave’ - rather they are encouraged to have fun and be themselves.

4. The end result is you will have beautiful images of your family and newborn, that you can frame on your walls, gift to family and use on your thank-you cards.
